Although your guests will surely be messy, you’ll want pictures of the eating frenzy, so plan for disposable, waterproof cameras at each table to catch all of the action. The seating should reflect the kind of event it is: utilitarian fun. So make sure lots of napkins and bibs are on hand, along with variously flavored butters and appetizers for your guests to munch on while they are waiting for the lobster to cook. Also, think about a headstone on your main buffet table, stating, ‘RIP Larry the Lobster’ for a laugh. Make sure to add pretty flowers, confetti and sea-like creatures surrounding the gravestone to add a humorous touch.
