For your next Work Party or Annual Picnic, think about a Venice Beach themed party, complete with a full set of Work Party Supplies. It could be a fun, easy, outdoor, all ages event to thank your staff for a job well done. Start with the location, which should be a larger park area with either a sandy beach, beach volleyball courts, or the opportunity to truck in sand. Lots of picnic tables, grassy spaces and maybe even a lake within walking distance would be an ideal spot. Make sure as well to get a permit if you are planning on having fire pits or large numbers of people gathering in the same, public place. Organize a beach volleyball tournament using either pre-arranged teams, or set them up at the actual Work Party. Have two courts going at once (depending on the amount of people registered), so that most participants are either involved, resting, or watching the game. Offer up lots of Frisbees and kites as well for interested attendees. A simple BBQ is an excellent idea for the eating portion of your Work Party; either get your guests to bring their own, or offer a buffet style lunch, complete with canned juices and pop, chicken or ribs, corn on the cob, egg and/potato salad and brownies for dessert. The atmosphere would fill out with a full cast of performers, such as acrobats, jugglers, clowns, fortune tellers, mimes and fire breathers. A steel band playing in the background would be an excellent addition to the theme.
